Each of us is called to serve Christ and His Church through the gift of our time, talents, and treasures. We are all stewards of the Church, ensuring that the sacrifice of the Eucharist can continue to be offered for us. St. Helena Parish could not continue to exist without the beautiful, distinct gifts that each person offers, and we want to help you to find the ways in which you are called to serve.
Stewardship is a dedication to the future of our Parish. There are so many different ways to give at St. Helena, and we encourage you to live out your faith through your acts of service:
Catechists teach the Faith and help our Parish family grow in knowledge and in relationship with Jesus Christ.
Liturgical Ministers proclaim the Word of God in word and song, welcome our community to Mass, serve at the Altar, and share the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist
Ministry Volunteers provide food and support to those in need, coordinate spiritual retreats for our community, prepare the Altar for the celebration of Mass, bring parishioners together in fellowship, support and console those who have recently lost loved ones, and celebrate the traditions that allow us to more fully experience the richness of our Catholic faith.
Parish Volunteers help with administrative tasks in the Parish Office, keep our Church grounds beautiful, and implement large-scale events for our community.
Financial Donors give generously from the fruits of their labor so that the Church can continue to operate and grow in service. These financial gifts support the daily operations of the church, from air conditioning and electricity to our parish staff.
Stewardship looks different for each person, but all of us have been given gifts and talents by our God, and we have an obligation to give from those talents to serve Jesus Christ and proclaim the Gospel through our actions.
