As your pastor, I feel immensely grateful for each of you, our parishioners, who so generously share your time, talent, and treasure to enrich our community. Your commitment to serving one another, volunteering for parish events, and building a welcoming, faith-filled community has been a true testament to the love of Christ in action. As St. Paul wrote,
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27).
Each gathering, every outreach, and all your contributions create a beautiful tapestry of unity and faith that brings our parish family closer to God and to one another.
In this spirit of renewal, we are reminded of Jesus’ call to be “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19), and I encourage each of you to extend this invitation to others. As we journey together through this Eucharistic Renewal, consider inviting a friend, family member, neighbor, or coworker to attend Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, or any and all Masses with you. These beautiful celebrations—and our regular Masses—offer unique opportunities to share the joy, peace, and love we experience in the Eucharist. Together, let us spread the Good News as Christ has asked us to, inviting others to encounter His love through our parish family.
I am deeply moved by the faithfulness and dedication I see daily within this parish. You are living witnesses of Christ’s love, and your presence and generosity are a constant source of inspiration to me and to everyone who walks through our doors. Thank you for being the beautiful, faithful community that St. Helena is known for.
Together, let us continue to grow in faith, share Christ’s love, and invite others to experience the fullness of our Catholic community. As we are reminded in Hebrews 10:24-25, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” May God bless you abundantly for all you do, and may St. Helena continue to be a beacon of Christ’s light for all who seek Him.
With heartfelt gratitude and blessings,
Marcin P. Czyz, Pastor, St. Helena Catholic Church
