Lectors

The ministry of lector is open to confirmed Catholics who have the gift of public speaking. The ministry requires a great reverence for God’s Word. Adult lectors who are married need to have their marriage in accordance with the guidelines for marriage according to the Catholic Church. Training consists of two sessions during which lectors learn about proclaiming and have the opportunity to practice reading from the ambo.
